4. Ms. Bettencourt Myers’ grace stems in part from her strict Catholic upbringing. Her husband is a French businessman of the Jewish faith, Jean Pierre Myers, the son of a rabbi who died in “Auschwitz”. They got married at the beginning of April 1984 in Tuscany and have two sons: Jean Victor who is 36 years old and Nicolas who is two years younger. They raised their sons in the Jewish faith and tradition since Francois Bettencourt Myers also converted to her husband’s religion before marriage.
5. Francoise Bettencourt Myers, privately and as a scholar, is very interested in the relationship between Judaism and Christianity, on which she has written several books. He also likes to play the piano, to which he dedicates several hours a day. Most of all, she hates being exposed in public, which she skillfully avoided until 2007, when she asked the court to deprive her mother of her business capacity.
